    Have you tried Madmooks? I know he's busy but he does great work! See link at top of page.

    What chevynut says. Madmooks did my 57 Nomad lifgate straightening and rechroming. Better than new! Give them a call...they are in Lake Havasu City, AZ

    I contacted mike and he is not taking any gate in, don't know when he will taking gate in he told me to keep in touch!

    Hmmm...that's interesting...
    He did so many before he moved the operation from LA over to AZ.
    Maybe he's so busy with the fabrication of the other stainless parts he's selling for Nomads and wagons that he's choosing to discontinue doing liftgate restoration?
    He's on this forum often...I'm sure he'll chime in.

    Just taking a break for a while. Paul is right . The other parts have kept me busy. I don’t really have a passion for the liftgate work and it’s pretty brutal on my back.

    Check with Jerry Cabunoc, he has always treated me fair. He can tell you how to measure the lift gate to determine if it needs straightening. He can straighten it and tell you what you need to do to prevent it from warping again. He lives in Santa Ana, CA, and can be reached at (714) 457-1955. He is particular about how things have to be shipped - but it is to prevent ANY damage. He is extremely knowledgable about Nomads. He will probably be at the CNA convention in Oregon this year straightening Lift gates.
