I have a '56 Chevy Bel Air black convertible with 3 speed column shift and overdrive.
I love driving this car. It is 85% restored from the tires up. The underside is untouched, a driver, like I wanted. I just installed an alternator so I can have AC installed as it is hot here in So. Fl. most of the year. I will continue tinker until I get everything the way I want it.

Welcome to the site George. I'm not a huge fan of original cars but that's a nice convertible!

Hi George, nice looking drop top. Is it an original 265 power pack 4 barrel motor?

No. it's got a '62 327 with a 4 barrel. Runs very nice. Car originally came with power pack but is really packed with power now.

That's a great looking Cruiser, GIGeorge... I love it... and this is a great time of year down where you are for cruising in the convertible... not too hot yet.. and if the sun is hot, then wait til late afternoon/early evening (the best time to cruise anyway).. no AC needed...

Beautiful car you have there, George! Love the 3-speed OD trannys in these cars. Thinking of swapping out my straight 3-speed for one.

    Happy Motoring,

    Harry
