    1956 heater/defrost control lever

    Does someone know the trick to removing the dash heater/defrost control bezel in order to replace a broken lever?

    I believe you have to remove the entire control unit, not just the bezel. Maybe this will help:

    There are two screws at the top that go in from the firewall side of the control unit.
