Carl... Where have you been the past couple of years? Her 'plurality' of 'voters' included a few million illegals who shouldn't have been allowed to vote - if you believe in our constitution! Of course, even if you COUNT all those voters, she only won in a handful of large cities full of welfare recipients which represented about (per Cnut 16%) of the US area.

Obviously since then he has made a lot of money in real estate, maybe not so much in his other endeavors. I will say this, he was/is a risk taker, and has made good on it.

To me his current views of business and finance have grown to include many more areas of capitalism. But it's more than that - he sees the business world and foreign affairs in a very sensible way. That is what is so refreshing about him. I don't see much correlation to what he was saying in that congressional hearing to today's big picture.
That hearing was in the wake of the huge Savings and Loan crisis which cost US taxpayers $1.3Billion.

Oh so you think because you served in the Army you shouldn't have to pay taxes now? How did you getting paid by taxpayers absolve you from paying for government services? And don't you think you should be helping to support those serving in the military NOW? You're no independent, you're just a liberal that hasn't registered.

Getting a "majority" of voters isn't how we elect our President so it's irrelevant. The dumbocrats aka libards now want to abolish the Electoral College (like everything else in our history). But I don't think anyone knows what might have been different if the popular vote is what mattered. I know for a fact that a lot of people in Alaska don't even vote because the election is already decided hours before their polls close. People in deep red states don't vote because they know the electoral votes will go to the Republican anyhow. Same might happen in deep blue states. If people knew that EVERY vote counted, it could change the entire electorate. So when the rules are changed, many different things can happen.

If you look at the whole country, the libtards are all in little blue specs scattered in a few places on the map. They're in big population centers where they live like ants in an anthill. That fosters a socialistic view...."we're all happy together helping each other". That's why libtards congregate in cities....or the cities turn them into libtards. I really don't know if it's a cause or effect. Maybe we ought to ask Carl.

Trump won 2626 or 84% of the 3141 counties per the AP. The vast majority of the acres in the US are Trump Country. Too bad we can't put all the libtards in one state, like California and build a wall around it to keep them in. Life would be so much better.

If we want to talk about majorities, then Trump won the majority of counties, he won the majority of states, and he had the majority of votes across the country that night, that is, until the votes in the Peoples Republic of Commifornia were counted. The Presidential election is broken down into 50 individual state elections, not one singular national election. So, that's why the majority of votes nationally means nothing, and we can thank wisdom of the founding fathers for that. If it were a contest of who gets the most votes nationally, then the candidates would campaign only in the highly populated urban areas on both coasts, and THAT is where most Democrats live, and THAT is why the Democrats HATE the electoral process!

Another good interview video of Trump, at the tender age of 34. His comments are prophetic, to say the least!
