    Hello All !!

Recently purchased a nice 56 Nomad so I'm anxious to make it my own and put some finishing touch on it. This has been a long awaited dream to once again own a 56 Nomad. I had one back in the early 70's but like most young and naive teen I sold it for a 57 Bel Air Hardtop that was hopped up. I really missed having the Nomad as it was my first drivable car.

Welcome/Good morning! I was lucky enough to keep my 55 that I bought in the 70's. Never legally drove it until a few years ago, but I kept it. Probably turned down 1000 or so prospective buyers over the years.

Welcome to the site BCPrez. I also fell in love with the 56 Nomads in the late 60's and bought mine for $550 in 1973. One day soon I hope to drive it.

56 Nomads (and '56 BelAirs in general) seem to grow on us over the years. I initially loved '55's.. then '57 Nomads... but now I think I may even like the '56's best of all!~

Speaking of which, a friend sent me a link to a Craigs Listing ad for one yesterday (with 4 I don't need another!)..

If you copy the link and paste into another window, it works... not sure why clicking it doesn't??
