    WTB Hedman Hedders HCH-12 55 Chevy

    Anyone have a pair of these 2 piece Hedman HCH-12 Hedders. Anyone have a pair laying around? Thx, S

    I have never seen a pair of those. Obviously they made them in two parts for ease of installation. Do you know when they were made?

    I too have never seen a pair of those headers and I have attended a few hundred swap meets in my time.

    My guess is early sixties. I was doing a search for vintage headers for my 55 Wagon and found these.

    Now that was a cool build, they also used a 57 Olds rear. I wonder if the actually got it stabbed without disassemble. I doubt it.

    Is it my imagination, or do both those fellas doing that engine install look like 'Cookie Byrnes'??

    Hey Bama, it was Kookie Byrnes and they have his hair for sure. I bet that picture was a photo op and they never tried to install the engine with the headers installed. It is hard to believe that car is still around but very different from what it was in those days.

    I would say finding a set of these headers is pretty slim.

    There was a set on the HAMB but I missed them.
