where are you getting your long boards & sandpaper?

Been reading some of the posts and see the long boards (sanding blocks) with the stiffening rods (AFS 24" & 36").
Looked on Eastwood,Summit, Amazon, E-Bay, Google and nothing.
Caprice found them "unavailable" from "Adjustable flexibility Sanders".

    Update:

Caprice found their website and got some ordered.

Tech at TCP global said owner died and kids didn't want business.

Too bad on the AFS sanding blocks - I like them.

I buy all my sandpaper etc. from the local automotive paint store.

Here is one online source that's always treated me well - autobodystore.com

Maybe they stopped making them, because just weren't selling enough? I bought AFS 27" from Summit Racing about a year ago.

I buy my rolls of PSA sandpaper from either my local Finishmaster or Amazon.
Dave, from the old neighborhood in Jersey!

I usually pick up a new set of durablocks and rolls of paper at the car show - normally February around here.

I like the Durablocks also. The long skinny one I bought 2 and cut one in half for some smaller areas. It comes in handy.

Yes have used those as well as broom sticks, pieces of pvc pipe, steel tubing, etc. Also have used pipe insulation over these. Sanding blocks are where you find them, and many of them are only a few steps away in your garage.

Heater hose, yes. Like Rick said, all kinds of stuff. I like the pipe insulation over pvc pipe idea, have to remember that one.
