    Old guy but new member

Just found this site on a search while listening to Christmas music with the wife. Have a 57 Nomad that has been complete for a number of years now but I always upgrading something on it.

The latest is 5 speed tremec, Quick fuel carberator, and small diameter distributor with HEI. Interior has old arm rests, & under hood shots still has the old Muncie w/Hurst, old holley, and non HEI distributor.

I put in a couple photos.

Welcome, that's an impressive nomad. Looks like you have the panels lined up nicely, including the lift gate.

Thank you, yes the panel fit is now good. The rear lift gate was very time consuming going on and off a zillion times to get the gaps where they should be. A lot of modifications/cutting/shimming to fit it as was intended by GM but never was. My buddy Tuch did all the body straightening and paint. I did the rest of the car. It’s a forever project as I just like working on it. I’m always doing something to it.
