    Question for Cnut

What would it take to convert my 4dr ht frame, to mount a nomad body? Is it just changing some body mounts? Thanks

A 4-dr sedan has the SAME body mounts as a Nomad, but I think a 4-dr HT has one or two more per side, and possibly ?? in different positions. Your service manual has the information for each body style.

The 4DHT frame is unique because the center body mount (#3 outboard), near the b-pillar, is a different length and in a slightly different location. It's longer and is about 7" further back and sits lower. All the other body mounts are the same at a 2D or 4D sedan or 6 passenger wagon including a Nomad.

So to answer your question all one would have to do is remove the outboard #3 body mount and add a stock one from any other frame type in it's place, or fab one and locate it correctly for a Nomad. Not a big deal.
