I've been a little distracted lately...

It's winter/spring in SoCal and the weather is nice.
Avid desert riding fan for most of my life. Started out on 2 wheels until my late 20s, then got out of it (broke with 3 little kids to raise), then got back into it via 4 wheels (ATVs) when they were teenagers.
But they're grown and off to their own blue skies in life now, and I don't ride them as often, so decided to go back to 2 wheels. Started looking for a gently used, low miles/hrs., late model, fuel injected, lightweight, dual-sport (plated) bike and found the right one for right price recently.

2013 Husqvarna TE511. With all kinds of extras added on by the previous owner. Several thousand dollars worth of chatchkies, actually. It was a smokin' deal I couldn't pass up, by a younger guy who was just where I was back then (new family, wife bellyaching about him having a hobby that took food out of their mouths, etc). So it's mine now.
