    1956 Gas tank

    Looking for info on how to remove a gas tank on 1956 Nomad...

    Welcome. You have to remove the rear axle (or move it forward), then the filler neck, then the tank straps. The tank sits over the top of the spare tire well.

    All wagons have the same tank, so I would say yes.

    Except 9-passenger wagons, which have a unique tank, per my understanding.

    Yup, with my friend's handyman, we had to move the rear out of the way to allow the tank to come down.
