I plumbed in a remote transmission fluid cooler for the TH350 in my 57. There is a brass thermostatic sensor for the fan, which threads into a fitting in the fluid flow. I just used standard white thread sealant tape on the sensor threads. Looks like that was a bad choice, as I am getting some weeping of ATF from the sensor threads. Is there a better sealant I should be using on the sensor threads?
Thanks, Doug
