Swapping out the speedo bullet from a TH350

    Howdy,
After my startup of my 57 at the very end of last year (after many long years in the air), I have been doing some leak fixing. The biggest leak I still have comes from the speedo cable connection to the TH350. I bought a speedo bullet (with seals), and figure to swap the new bullet in. I was thinking that if I lift the rear of the car, maybe I won't end up with a gush of ATF coming out when I pull the bullet. Do you think raising the rear higher than the front will make much of a difference? Logic says yes, but maybe it won't really have much of an effect. I only ask because I have the whole car up high on jackstands, and won't mess with changing the attitude if it is a waste of time. Inquiring minds...
    Thanks, Doug

In the past I felt like it helped, today I don't bother as I would rater use my two post lift. I have a 2 foot catch tray.

Thanks for the reply; since I don't have a lift, and lowering helped you in the past, I will prolly drop the front end down.
    Thanks! Doug
