The only possible thing I can think is that the power feed to the indicators is not a switched feed. The fuel pump has one ground. The temp sender technically has two; the ground to the sender and the override. While i did disconnect the sender ground, its definitely that circuit.

I am going to run a switched feed to the toggle next and see if that does anything.

    So issue solved.

When I fed the light from an ignition hot everything works as it should. So the feed that I was using was from the supplemental fuse block which has a tap to the main fuse flock. The tap runs through a relay and powers the supplemental box. The wire that I was using wasnt an ignition hot. So it is always hot and since the fan is grounded at the sender and toggle, the light showed a small draw. The fuel pump only has one ground at the toggle. Thats the difference. Feed off ignition hot and everything works.
