    '55 Hardtop Bel Air

Good day all! Just finished my '57 Chevy Truck (Betsy), due to the work from home status, and was wasting time looking through FB Marketplace when I stumbled across a '55 Hardtop. Well, as all of you know, you can't go without a project for long. I took a drive with a buddy of mine and rounded up what appears from the VIN to be a hardtop BA Sport Coupe with the C package. Was also a factory v8/auto, but will likely go LS so I can cruise it.

Don't have any pics at the moment except those I have sent to Golden Star for part numbers, but I will post as the project begins. I am still rounding up a parts list, which will be a very long list I will have to hide from my wife.

Something in the VIN, I looked it up through some research and it apparently was some opera lights, dash trim, etc. I am doing more research but in the end, I am not going back with any of the stock components, (though the opera lights may be in the final details, kinda cool).

Are you referring to C in VIN all Belairs are C cars, my 55 is an AV or a 150 v8 in 2 dr sedan. My 56s are both VC or v8 Belairs 2ht.
