    stans 56 just joined

Glad I found this sight. I will be looking for a lot of information on my 56. It's been in the family since the early 60's My two brothers have owned it at different times. Now it's my turn. The car has had a hard life. The last brother to have owned it installed 327 new crate motor from Chevrolet. The car was one of the fastest cars in our town. Encinitas ca. for a few years. Then it has sat since the late 70's covered outside. I don't know why he didn't put it in his shop, instead of a piece crap pickup. Stan

Welcome to the site Stan. Hopefully, the salty air at the coast hasnt been too unfriendly to all the sheetmetal? Post some pics and we'll all help ya out with advice. Take care, Paul.
