Nomad bling on a 210 wagon tailgate

Has anyone installed a version of the nomad chrome ribs in the 210 tailgate? Is it the same slope and dimension?

My understanding (from others) is that the curvature/length is different between trifive 'wagons' and Nomads, and the Nomad bars won't fit. If you just want the 'look', there is a possibiilty of using 'later model' (58-60?) nomad bars which might work better...?

The Nomad tailgate has more slope than a standard wagon tailgate - which makes it longer than the standard tailgate. So the bars may be too long.

Super Chevy magazine added the Nomad bars to a tailgate on a sedan delivery project they did in the 1990's. Yes the Nomad tailgate is 3" longer than the wagon version and the Nomad gate has the raised sections for the chrome bars. They shortened a Nomad outer skin and they shortened the bars as well. I have attached a scan of the pages from that mag - see if this works.001 (4).jpg002 (4).jpg003 (2).jpg
