    Good Afternoon

Hello. Finally signed up. Hoping to bring Mom and Dad's '57 back to former glory. Can still remember riding home the day he bought it in 1981. Unfortunately was stolen and recovered twice. Not much left, but what is the is solid and straight. Frame%20Off-2_zpsvkmo7wkm.jpg

Welcome Slim! Appears to have been a 'colonial cream' car originally? What is the paint code? I Love the color myself..

We'd love to hear and see more about the car and hear a little about you and your dad's ownership. Sounds like the car itself has an interesting history as well..

    Thank you BamaNomad!

    Best I can decipher is:
    Body: 57-1037D
    Paint: 811D
    Trim: 673 1A B

Quite a ride with. Maybe I start with a project to tell story???

From the codes you have a turquoise/ivory car from the factory...

811 is tropical turquoise and ivory top.
    673 is turquoise/black interior material.

A lot of times a firewall will not be repainted, even when the car is, but in your case the firewall was painted yellow... Was someone preparing to paint the car yellow??

Let us know your plans, but I'm hoping you'll stay with the original colors...
