During the covid-19 hysteria, I have been adding to my die cast collection of classic cars, planes, trains, caravans, Harleys, etc. 1890-IMG_1590.JPGpresent. Here is a group of recently acquired Trifives.

CC? Do you disassemble them and repaint them yourself? or just buy the ones you like? I really like your two tone '57 HT ... I have 15 or 20 diecast cars; mostly cars I have or have owned in the past, or ones I will never afford but really like... like the limited edition AutoArt experimental StingRay Corvette (one off car- model I purchased at the NCM many years ago). I also have fully functional cars that were pretty expensive.. 1) matching the 1970 Roadrunner in 'limelight', the first new car I ever bought, and a functional 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28-RS matching the Orange/black car I've owned for 45 years!

Rott and DB5.jpgI look for die cast of cars I've owned. Hopefully find the matching color. here are a couple I wish would show up: 1970 Road Runner convertible, pistol grip, air grabber hood, vitamin C orange, 1957 Chevy BelAir 4-dr station wagon 1:24 or 1:18 scale.
The photo of the Fuel pump you recently found inspired me to post this thread. Here some 1:18 scale fuel pumps and a few cars in the color I owned. One of my brothers is a tightwad multi millionaire. His alter ego is James Bond. As a long term joke(6mths) I led him to believe I purchased an Aston Martin DB5. Stage a photo shooting and emailed this photo. He did not like being duped to say the least when I told him it was staged and a 1:18 scale AutoArt die cast car. LOL DB5 aston martin.jpggas pumps, figurines.jpg

Here's my only "larger scale" Die Cast. I have some smaller ones as well as some Hot Wheels sized ones. I used to have a ton of the Hot Wheels ones but my three sons lost them all in the sand box!!!

Slim, very cool! Now we all know where your avatar image came from. The monopoly 57 BelAir is absolutely a treasure. My brothers and I spent many years playing monopoly and marbles together. My twin brother and I are two of eight kids.
