    Split bench seat

I have a 56 Chevy but it has a 57 split bench seat in it. I'm going to have it redone and want to know if after the seat is all stripe is the frame different than a 56 seat frame because if not I want it to be done to look like a 56. I can replace the side shells with the 56 shells if that is all I need.

I had same problem, 57 seat back is thinner than 55/56.

If what you want is stock 56 upholstery material and pattern on a 57 seat, call Ciadella and ask if they can do this, they probably can.

It sounds like the OP desires to have a '56 seat that LOOKS/feels like a '56 seat. It might require selling his '57 seat and finding an original '55-56 seat since I don't know of anyone who has changed a '57 seat into a '55-56 seat... If all he desires is the '56 pattern/material, and he's OK with the seat width/etc being more like a '57 seat (which is what it will still be), then maybe...?

I'm not certain, but I think the seat bottoms are the same.
