    Oil pan

    Will the oil pan on a sbc drop right off on a 1955 chevy

    On my SBC, in the 55, I run a 6qt Moroso pan, and it will drop out fairly easily.

    Plenty of room if you disconnect the idler arm from where it mounts to the frame then pull the drag link down.It may without doing that I've always just done that way.
