Body lifting 101

Any one know if it is OK to lift the body off the frame on a Nomad without removing the rear side glasses---Yeah, too much to do and little time.

I'm sure if your car is solid without major rust issues from the doors back, including a solid B pillar, and that if you lift with the usual careful methods, you can do this.

When I say "usual careful methods", that means either a 2 post lift under the rockers, or a cherry picker or overhead hoist at the cowl and near the tail pan body mounts. Careful means you spread out the load under flat sheet metal.

If this is a nice car getting a new frame, that should work. If it needs more thorough restoration the windows probably need to come out now anyway.
