New from Sacramento "56 Wagon

Hey there, Bill and Lucy from Sac. here. And Just picked up a super clean,Dry,wagon yesterday. runs and drives like new and it has a over drive behind the three speed manual trans and we don't know the correct operation of the unit.any help with this would be appreciated.Car shows 39k miles with original door panels,Dash cluster, everything operates,and still has the glass washer bottle intack.
