Years ago, I worked for a company in Midland Texas know as Race Engine Service. We did many types of engines from Indy to Nostalgia Race Series in England. While there, I picked up quite a few good ideas, one of which was organization, something I lack in still to this day.
It’s been bugging me lately so I decided to do something about it. I built a Build Cart for my chassiswork. I only have one product as youknow – C4 suspended Tri-Five Chassis using all new tube (2x4x1/8), mandrel bent to meet my design. What spawned this sudden need was me spending at least two hours a day looking through boxes in different locations for the next part to use or modify.
It’s not complete just yet but I thought ya’ll might enjoy a pic of it. I laid it all out in AutoCad to hold every part that goes into the chassis per the customer’s order. I haven’t figured out where to put the “Rick’s”fuel tank yet, but it’s pretty big so I shouldn’t have any trouble finding it in the shop.
