MadMooks

Havent posted in a while, been working on a lot of projects lately. These next 30 days or so are going to be big with new MadMooks' Parts. We have 4 parts scheduled to come out very soon once everything is finalized. We appreciate everyones feedback on all our parts up to this point.
here is a sample of our new liftgate swing arm kit. The kit will include a polished aluminum swing arm, and stainless bushings/pin. We will offer an exchange for guys who dont want to do the install themselves. The objective behind this part is both vanity and functionality based. Liftgate arms get bent from the torsion rods and sometimes so bad it will affect the fit and adjustment of a liftgate. They are also not the prettiest things in the world from the factory with that torsion rod hook in there. We decided to kill two birds with one stone, make a straight as an arrow hinge and make it pretty. We removed the split in the factory swing arm and made it solid since there is no need for the torsion rod hook anymore. we are still working on some last revisions, and different polishing options. the sample in the picture was a quickie polish job just to smooth out the surface.

Another part we are working on are the tailgate strikers for the inside jamb of all nomads and wagons. we had a few options on this piece. the originals were basically stamped pieces, not CNC machined. Ive noticed on a lot of cars the strikers bend from years of slamming the tailgate. with this in mind we wanted to make it bulkier to withstand all the punishment and the best way to do this was CNC machine out of stainless. the samples arent polished, just a rough machine job. for guys who have purchased my stainless liftgate striker, i would expect the same quality with these. sharp, brilliant luster, and tough as a bull.
again, this is a rough sample. the piece that is shown doesnt have countersunk holes yet.

MadMooks vs. Factory ( you can see how ours is heavy duty in this picture )

to go along with the strikers we will be offering tailgate latches ( nomads and wagons) in 100% stainless , all the way down to the 2 springs in each latch. this is one im very excited about because they dont offer a rebuild kit for these so when guys plate the originals , most plate the whole latch, everything assembled. when you do it this way, you fry those 50 year old rusty springs in the process. these will shine just as bright as rechromed originals, and function a lot better, for a lot longer.
picture below is just a sample of the assembly frame. the internal mechanisms are still being worked on.

the 4th part we are working on ( no sample pictures ) is the cable guide that mounts to the inside of the quarter panels. although a reproduction is on the market in casted steel, we decided to make our own, CNC machined stainless. more info on this when it becomes available.
