My buddy's 57 Nomad dropped by today...

My buddy Thadd dropped by because he said his car was rattling as if there were a "coffee can full of nuts and bolts behind the rear seat". i told him to drop by, was pretty excited to see his car as he just finished it ( for the time being, there never finished!)

Bob, the rattling is caused by the rear striker plate attached to the lower liftgate molding. my one piece anti rattle eliminates this plate and as a result, eliminates the rattling. the noise is very distinctive , and is similar to a ping type metal noise. its pretty irritating if you drive your car a lot.

My buddy Thadd called me when he got home that day and said he couldnt believe the rattling was gone. Always nice to hear that my "anti rattle" piece actually eliminates rattles :)
