New Nomad with old photos

Well I start off this post and say that I've been learking around for a few years. I always new that someday I would own a Nomad but not this soon, my dad called me last year and made me a deal that I cound't refuse. So after what seems like forever and an amazing shipping company (Thomas Sunday) the "Nomad" is in my garage. This car has been in our family since 1972, tons of cars have come and gone from my family's posession but this one has lasted the time. My dad always said that one day it would be mine since my brother and sister have no interest in cars. Being in the Navy for the last 18 years my dad has had plenty of opportunites to sell this amazing piece of family history. I only saw the car every couple years when I came home on leave. Below is a time line from the day my dad bought the car to now it sits in my garage. I fondly remember riding in the "Nomad" and looking up to my dad being that guy that could do anything and would always take care of us. This he has done forever and I hope to be as good of father to my 3 year old daughter as he is to us. Thanks dad for everything and I will take such good care of your car. I'm just a caretaker and it will be in our family forever. I wanted to post this here because I know how much these cars mean to people and that is no different than our family.

Love those old photos and the newer ones too! You have a very nice Nomad and we can tell you are dripping with the pride of ownership. That ensures the car will be well taken care of into the future. Now get out and drive it often and enjoy it. :D
