I just got the brick laid on my shop addition yesterday, so it's finally finished outside except for lighting. I put an air outlet box outside, as well as 2 electrical outlet boxes. The brick matches the old shop very nicely.
I installed the 18x8 foot garage door by myself (with a little help from my girlfriend) last week, after some local jackass who wanted me to build him a frame renegged on a deal he made me. I was going to credit him for his labor on the garage door against a C4 conversion frame and even wrote up a contract for the frame because he said he wanted one. Then he didn't show up when he was supposed to install the door. I hate dealing with jerks like that.
I already have a 120,000 BTU heater that I need to install for next winter, and 11 fluorescent light fixtures that have FOUR 4-foot T5 bulbs each. That's 44 total bulbs and 1400 watts of total lighting indoors....not including the "cans" in the sitting area where I will have a couch and fridge.
Next step is to finish framing for the light fixtures and build the upstairs storage area (380 square feet) floor.
