Been busy with some family health issues, but started back on the 57 this week. Am coming along good with the wiring kit. Nearly complete and things are working fairly well.
Just can't stop tearing things out and redoing them!!
While wiring the dash, decided to remove the gauge cluster and redo it, as well as the heater and ducts. Well since it was that far gone, why not add the new raingear wiper system.... All going well, the wipers are in and running, the heater core was redone and parts blasted and painted. Waiting for a new motor to put it back together. The gauge cluster is a blasted and ready for primer, now, do I rebuild the gauges.... ha ha, maybe.
Removed the seats to give me room to roll around wiring, think it may be time to change to black carpet....
Does it ever end? I guess when you run out of money!
Hope all the members are doing well.
Warren

Great to hear from you Warren.
And yes...you probably do need new carpet while your at it. ;)

And you'll need new door sills to hold the new carpet down & look good. Then there's the new door latches so they won't look out of place.....

For anyone wondering what the Raingear unit looks like, here's a not very good picture of the unit installed. Works great
