:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Does anyone know of a source that identifies the fasteners used on our tri-fives ? I have the '57 assembly manual but all it gives are part #'s. Is there a legend that will identify the size, thread, or type of fastener ? Sure could use some help here. Thanks

Try the book "How to Restore Your 1957 Chevy"

To my knowledge, there does not exist a "COMPLETE" list of fasteners required. Each section of the car has it's own requirements specific to model but even that is not published. It would be a nice addition though. In general, this link is to Danchuck but again I don't think it's all-inclusive. http://www.danchuk.com/danchuk1.aspx?Id=3eed7a57-53bb-4ee8-9b52-ec97ecd8b934

They are in section 9 of the standard parts catalog.188918901891189218931894The pages are in my album. You can read them better there. Hope this helps.

To NCW and 5Clint7, thanks for the input. All helps. I bought this car years ago in pieces along with bags and bags of fasteners. Unmarked of course. We have media blasted quite a lot, spent alot of time sizing and seperating them, but still trying to identify where they are used.

I don't think there's even ONE "correct" fastener on my Nomad. That crap would drive me nuts. :)
