A Pillar to Door Transition

Any one use these? Pics if you have. Did they install well and how well do they function?

I bought a pair and imo they aren't a good solution on a tri5.
The door angle is bad and imo they would wear. I've seen them installed and I don't like them. You know my preferred solution ;)

These are being considered for other than a 55-57. You remember, that copper colored job in my shop. Maybe even a possible solution for the blue job. I agree, for a trifive, there is a better solution.
