Does anybody have any experience good or bad with an air fuel meters?

Are you talking about a wide-band O2 sensor or something different? I got mine from Holley, and it interfaces with my Commander 950 ECU. It doesn't have a gauge with it, you read it off of a laptop.

No was looking at the FAST or Innovation hand held with dual sensors

Without doing any research (shame on me) I bough an Edelbrock #6593 ($150) unit from Jegs.
Complete junk. I welded the bung into the header attached it, it blinked a few times and did absolutely nothing. Jegs would have taken it back, but I let it sit in a box to long before getting around to installing. I tossed it in the trash.
I've heard the wide band units work fine...
