very similar,my adjusting arm doesnt make the curve, mine bolt straight to the floor they dont have that hook that slides in the floor. the bottom inside of mine have a curve for the transmission hump. they are supposed to come out of a 64 pontiac???? hope they aint out of a corvair??!!! mine doesnt have the chrome band across the top was told you can add it with a bracket. the corvair seats are supposed to be 1'' and a half narrower.anybody know for sure how to tell the difference???

o.k have been on google image, looked at 4 corvairs and every one them the seat adjuster slides left to right and the pontiac and other gm the seat adjuster pulls up and down not sideways. hopefully mine are from full size. (really want the chrome across the top). any info would help. thanks.

I bought what I thought were 64 Impala seats at an auction. turned out to be 65. Same appearence just different mounting due to different floor pan. The 65 was not an X frame, which makes mounting these seats in a 55

a 65 bucket seat when it folds foward the top of the seat goes straihgt on both sides, 62 thru 64 the top folds on an angle . the 65 is the only one that folds that way.mine must be 62 thru 64. the guy i bought them from said he knew the car they came from and it was a 64 pontiac. saw a set on ebay and they were exactly like mine right down to the color and design of the material.Thats all i have to go by for now. thanks .

Are you still looking for a track?
I have 65 Impala tracks you can have if that will help you out. You will have to modify the legs to fit.
I went with 2001 Grand Prix power tracks.
Picked up two sets of 65 Impala SS seats & auto. console for 150.00
