I'm thinking that the best fix is just a small panel below where the line is.

Is it rusted all the way back?

I'd remove only what you need to remove to cut all the rust out. Also, I would round the top left end so you don't get so much warpage there.

It's a low crown panel so you will see some shrinking effects, but given the inner rocker is removed you should have good access for hammer/dolly. Looks as good as anywhere to put the seam, but as Laszlo said try cutting a radius at the rear. Not sure how I'd do the front without seeing a better shot of the B post foot. they typically have rot in there, so final cut line there would be based on what you find, and access.

Yup, feet are dry and cracked from age....................... OH! You meant the B Pillar foot - it's a sad puppy. Both sides.

Do you have repair pieces for those, or will you be making those up as part of your lower quarter repairs?

I wish I had time to make my own repair parts but I'm pressed for time and have them on the way. I purchased "Show Quality" units and will judge theat once they arrive. The driver side is worse however and it concerns me.

With all that mess, you may as well go higher on that side to just cut it out..

I know...................... Sad what some repair place did to fix it. When the panels get in, I'll figure it all out. I'm thinking above floor line which will allow me to go ahead and finish the floor install. Above floor will give me access to the back for proper welding and dolly/hammer action.
