dash lights/placement for a 55

Is there a schematic that shows were all of the dash lights are for a 55 Chevy? i can find wiring but not bulb locations.

Thanks Sid, that helps still not sure were my lose light goes but now when i get back out there i can take a look around. all the cluster lights are in place and working the heater bezel is working and the glove box, but i have one short one that is hanging near the heater bezel and between the glove box, did the cigarette lighter have one???

Maybe rear speaker switch ??

I think the ignition switch has a light as well. At least it does on a 56.

Yes correct, ignition switch has a spot for a light , but was a option . Dont know if that was the case with 56 & 57

If you look under 1955 Chevy accesories it shows a replacement lighter with a light.

BINGO!!!! Gentlemen, The ignition switch is the missing link :cool: i had looked from below laying on the floor and had not noticed any spot till your posts then went out and felt blindly around on found the hole in the top of the ignition were it belongs. Looks like i will have to remove the switch to get this one in though tore my arm up just feeling around LOL, Thank You
