I have attached 3 pics. One is just with 2" drop spindles and factory 5 leafs with air shocks. Second pic shows same but with one coil removed. Last photo shows 4" drop in the rear. Accomplished this by installing 9" Ford, with RideTech 4 Link, RideTech HQ adjustable coil overs with Cobra rear brakes. I still have room for adjustment in the rear.

I'm confused as to what is "second" but I can see it being lowered. It looks awesome dropped, imo. Curious what it measures from the top of the rear axle to the bottom of the frame rail. A 4" drop would put it at 1.72" per factory measurements with a 3" axle tube.

The look is good - I wondered why you hadn't already done it. Now you're there and I like it. :)

The middle picture is what I started with. With the leafs and air shocks it measured 6 3/4 inches from the top of axle to the bottom of the frame, it now is 4". I measure from the ground to the bottom lip of the wheel well. Initial was 24 1/2 and its 20 1/2 now. The far right pics is just 1"dropped coils. Rear the same as before.

So you're about 1.72" below stock height in the rear now if the 9" rear tubes are also 3" diameter. My C4 conversion drops to about 2" lower than stock, that's why I was curious. Looks great. ;)

Yes 3" tubes. I still have some room to lower some more, but will need to do something on the front or I will have the California Rake!

Thanks Carl. Your "drive and enjoy them while you work on them" is something I have done. Great idea!
