Deluxe Heater Control Assembly

Can someone help me with any tips and tricks as to how to remove the deluxe heater controls assembly from the dash of a 1955 Bel Air

Hello Lovemy55 ,
There are 2 screws at the top of the control that clamp it to the dash from the back. You can see 1 of them in line with the on/off switch in the drawing in the Library 55 chevy Manual Page 172 You may have to take the glove box and ash tray out, to get to them.there is also 2 screws at the bottom remove them and it should drop down

Thanks, Sid. I will take a look. I figured that more would have to be taken apart than just the control itself.
