55 nomad chassis

Hey guys, question , have a chance to pick up a 55 nomad chassis in nice shape, price is extremely short money, complete rolling chassis, does it fit a 55 hardtop?

Short answer, yes.

A nomad chassis is the same as a sedan chassis. The HT chassis has one extra body mount on the outboard side of the frame, forward of the hump. You can just add that and it will work on a HT. I assume you mean 2DHT since there wasn't a 4DHT in 55.

Thanks Guys ,chevynut you are correct, its a 55 2dr hardtop, just looking at the aspect of restoring it while working on the car and swapping it out, after the floor is done
