I've looked everywhere and cannot find the bracket in the attached picture. I'm calling it a firewall brace, maybe that's why I cannot find it. Any ideas if it is available?
Mine has a substantial bow/bend in it, obviously from an accident at some point in time. I've tried to straighten it (with it on the car) using a Porta Power, but the whole firewall seems to want to move inward as well. Not good. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

From a photo I found online.

If it's to be had, Real Deal Steel would be my guess.

Seems like there should be plenty of donor cars to get that part from. I don't know if it's repopped, but a used one shouldn't be that hard to find. IMO that's the route I'd go to get the best fit.

I agree with chevynut, almost any parts car will have a good one, and new piece will be expensive and most likely not as a good as an original.

Some call it a cowl brace. Don't know if that will help your search or not.
