Does anyone know about the quality of the Eastwood welders? My brother is considering buying a MIG welder and plasma cutter. They have a 250A MIG for around $1000 and a 40A plasma for around $500. This is around half the price of Miller equipment. Any idea who makes them? The reviews are very good and they seem to be a good value.

They have a 170A MIG and plasma combo for under $1000. My brother wants to be able to use the welder on both 120V and 220V and the 250A is the only one that does that.

I have the mig 175 and it works great I brought it to work and one of the guys dropped a 4" I beam on it just damaged the cover and broke the adjustable wire feed knob on it Eastwood sent me the parts to replace it free and they even knew how it happened they didn't care I think the warranty is five years
