JT, can you explain to me what blacking out a license plate accomplishes? People see it rolling down the road, so what's the point?

Your car has "two alternators" right?

Pic's over the web get shared ect...just trying to keep exposure to a minimum. They have to catch it in person instead of seeing it on the web! Never know who has bad intentions

But what exactly can they do with your license plate number? They can't get your address from the DMV because it's private info. If I got your license plate number I don't know where I could go to find out where you live or whatever. I see guys doing this fairly often and never understood it. Some guys even post pics of just their license plates.

You are assuming everyone who has access is a law abiding citizen without bad intentions. You never know about people. They could be in a bind and leak that info out. Kinda like installing a gun safe in front of a window for everyone to see it!

Do you cover it up or take it off at car shows or races? I sometimes see them blurred out on TV too. Makes no sense to me since everyone sees it while you're driving around. I kinda get your point, but it seems like a minute thing to worry about. :p
