Help!

Just ordered chrome radiator upper support bar for the 55. But then I noticed,
that the old bar is one piece unit. what will have to do to make the
new bar fit in place?

The top bar is either riveted or spot welded to the rest of the support. You will have to drill out the rivets or spot welds. I assume the new chrome one has holes to bolt it back on.
