Sand in strange places

I spent last Sunday prepping my dash for install. I do believe its been the worst thing I've ever blasted as for as getting to all the nooks and crannies and eating sand!

Yeah, a lot of curved metal there to throw the sand right back at you. I like to take stuff like that to the metal stripper.

They don't use acid and the parts come back like shiny new metal where its not pitted. Pitted areas are clean, but of course not smooth, and they can do whole bodies.

I had a conv done once, but that nomad is not mine. There is weatherstripping on the 55/56 cowl area that would be extremely hard to replace, so an acid bath is not recommended for them, but this process should be OK.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll check them out. We have a strip masters here in town but you know how it goes.... thought it'd only take a couple of hours and then that turned into 4. Glad to have it done and in primer. I hope to get my body wrapped up by the end of October.
