So I am starting to mount the roofline and belt line moldings on my 55 2-door wagon.
I am 99% sure, I had all of the moldings when I got the car last year. I am sure I checked. I laid them out on both sides, upper lower, then bundled them up and taped them. I later un taped them to get a molding out to test interference on the driver side upper mounted side mirror.
When I got sick my friend offered to put them in my upper loft. I let him.
Today I pulled my moldings out and one is missing. I have torn my garage apart, checked the shed, checked the basement, called the guy who put them away. Nothing. Gone.
I have this very bad hunch that someone grabbed it out of the garage when the garage door was open in the fall. For a while they were resting on the roof. Likely a random kid maybe just as a joke a prank or something stupid. Anyway its gone.
Does anyone have the upper roof line molding for a 1955 210 2-door wagon, drivers side top that goes right under the drip rail with the curve?
I will pay the cost of the molding and pay for careful shipping and if you are in the md/PA/VA area I will drive out to get it.
I can't even believe that I now need this part . This car is killing me. :(
