Hi,
Can anyone recognise this hydraulic camshaft from the pics? It's in a 283 here in the UK that has been rebuilt at some time. The engine's nothing special. My first thoughts is that it is a Crane cam, 11 being the SBC 57-87 engine group and 08-88 being the date code. Their catalogue indicates that's how they stamp their cams. But I would have expected to see something like H-260 to identify the grind so maybe it's not Crane after all.
