I would Like to make a Chart for 1955 -1957 Chevy's for Weight of the parts
I'm trying to get them so when one try's to remove parts they have a Good Idea what they are dealing with if you have any other weights please post them .
2 Door Post & HT
Body shell , No doors , truck lid or seats
Each Door (complete)
Each Door (Shell)
Trunk Lid
Front fender
Hood
Bumpers
Core Support

Complete Body with Glass , Less Frame and Front Clip
Complete Body NO Glass , Less Frame And Front Clip


2 Door Wagon / Nomad

4 Door wagon

56-57 4 Dr HT

Convertible

I have a bunch of loose parts and I'll try to weigh them and post. I think I weighed a bunch of 56 parts when RD claimed I was adding weight to my Nomad front sheetmetal....I'll search for that stuff too. LOL :D

Thinking outside of the box, have you contacted Real Deal Steel? They have been very helpful in the past.

I just looked at real deal's web site and it gives weights in the "shipping" section. I don't know if it includes packaging or not.

I just got a full 10 piece set of glass shipped to me for my nomad. It totals around 100 pounds including the packaging. So I will need to pull each item out and weigh it...

Shipping weight is with container/dunnage and carton.
