Am I correct in assuming this was built by some “aftermarket firm” ?

Just looking at the top of the front and back door alignment looks funkey.

Pretty much every ambulance and hearse then and now is done by an aftermarket firm that specializes in that kind of stuff. Some do better on the details than others.
