Bought this car to replace the 56 belair i sold years ago. So it has a 1979 Vette L82 350, Brodix Alum heads, roller rockers, Edlebrock intake, nice cam (dont know the spec's) Muncie 4 speed, Ford 9in posi rear, power disc brakes, nice black interior, American torque thrust 16in wheels.

It was done back in 1985 and lived in a super nice garage with many of it others. But it did need some tlc as the wiring was getting hard. Radiator was leaking, needs AC and power steering and some interior updating.

i have been slowly working on it. New wiring, new radiator, and collecting parts.
But it is a nice driver as is.

By 79 the L-82 had the worst casting SBC head ever built the crack prone 624 so your Brodix heads are a very nice upgrade. Stock Cam would have been .450/.460 lift and 222 dur. @.050. I believe the L-82 still had forged F/T pistons and crank in 79. I really like your old school interior.

:) Very nice '57 150, Kurt! Looking forward to hearing more about her as you proceed. Just curious...... I had several '55 150s in the '70s. These were business coupes and the rear quarter windows were mounted solid with a gasket. Didn't roll up and down. Is your '57 this way or do the rear quarter windows roll down?

Best regards,

Harry

mine is actually a 210 so the rear windows roll up and down. When the previous owner did this car in the mid 1980s he put the 150 trim on it. Although he did remove the window cranks in back but not mount them with a rubber gasket. I have not got to removing the back interior panels to see what was done there. Will be interesting to see. This car had a lot of dollars spent on it when it was done back then.
