Hi guys, I'm in the process of purchasing a 56 post car that is missing a few pieces.
Both inner fender wells r gone & I have found some from a 55 car.
My question is are the 55 & 56 inner fenders the same?

Also want to replace the radiator support, same question, r the 55 & 56 interchangeable?

Any info is most appreciated.

All the sheet metal parts on ft clip are different.

It's different too. All front end sheet metal for 55-57s is year specific.

When it comes to the radiator support, the top long brace is different for each year but isn't the U part interchangeable ?

They are different between 6 and V8. There are flanges that the radiator bolts to. Faces forward 6 and rearward on V8.

yes but if you remove the rivets in between the u and the top bar and unscrew the side panels, you can flip the U around to use whichever style radiator you prefer or at least I did on my 55. I was in a situation where I needed to replace my top bar anyway and flipped the U part to match up with a used radiator I had.
