57 4 door sedan dog leg replacement

Rebuilding a 4 door sedan with my youngest son. Dog legs are a total mess, inners and outers. Purchased the outer panel replacement. They are not all that great just looking at them. Has anyone used them and if so, any advice to get them installed?

We did have an NOS dog leg we sold, had bought a factory 4 door quarter and cut the dog leg portion off. Do you have any pictures of the damaged area and the replacement part?
